Letter from Dad – the sweetest I have ever received!  I hope I never lose it.  I’ve been able to do nothing all day since classes except pace the floor!  Dad says, if I’m not going to get my degree why finish now? Why not go home? and if the course weren’t so near over (over and done) I would!

Cut the Educ. class because they visited another school. Came home to find letters from Arnold and Dit, bless her heart!  In the afternoon, letters from Ty-Ty, Jonathon and Mary Jo – Wonder what Dad will say!  Never have thought that he wanted me to be married – not just to Arnold, perhaps, but to anyone! Found out that there was a earthquake (very small) here last night between 9:30 and 10. Maybe that’s why I felt a little dizzy when I got out of the boat at Xo –
