Friday January 18,1935

Just had two cards from dad about Ty-Ty’s operation!  Quite sudden to me but I knew they had been thinking of it for some time!  Went to the church banquet with Bernard and Alyce Claire – Good Food!  It was such a beautiful night and we all felt so good that we decided to go to the show “Peck’s Bad Boy” – Called Glover’s about flowers for Ty-Ty.

The Great Bambino is considering life after the Yankees.

After only month in officer the 19th Governor of Minnesota, Thomas H. Moodie, is impeached.   The presidents daughter takes her second trip down the isle and the Lindbergh trial is expected to wrap up soon, but not before the suspect’s wife accuses the prosecution of lying.
