Letter from House and I sent $10 to Santa Fe for my Life Certificate. Letter from Velma G. Stone.  I can hardly wait to get to Roswell.  Better seems to be having a fair time and am sure I would.   Went to see “Imitation of Life” with Jaime, Iley and Blanche.

 

Here’s what else was happening 80-years-ago today:

A deadly hurricane hits Newfoundland and another wicked storm is brewing in the Atlantic. The cat 5 storm is setting its sights on Florida for the Labor Day Holiday weekend.
