Two cards from Ty-Ty – one written Friday from Pecos (Jan 31st?) And one from Van Horn mailed Feb 4 getting here the same day! Don’t understand. Dreamed last night of Carsey – probably means I won’t hear from him again! Heard from Mexico City – the U! sending me information of accommodations under way to take care of foreign women students for $5.00 for the whole year! That included board and room, tuition, books etc! Sounds pretty good!
Here’s what else was happening 80-years-ago today:
Monopoly goes on sale for the first time.
“Tomorrow’s Another Day” composed by Glenn Miller for the Dorsey Brothers Orchestra was recorded by Decca Records.
