Found out Dwight sent me the bouquet in appreciation of my work with the chorus! Was I ever surprised! Took part of them to school.  Still no word from home. Plan to go to “David Copperfield” tonight – The show was very good! Rather longer than most but I’d never notice it if it hadn’t been that we had to see the first part later.  Came in just where he was going to meet his step-father – But contrary to everyone else, I didn’t shed a tear!  I went with Mary, Virginia, and Mrs. Burdette.
