It was a full house at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City.

Full house at the Metropolitan Opera House, NYC, on November 28, 1937. This is the view from the rear of the stage looking outward as famous pianist Josef Hofmann plays for the audience. The Metropolitan Opera House was located at 1411 Broadway. Opened in 1883 and demolished in 1967, it was the first home of the Metropolitan Opera Company. It had a seating capacity of 3,625.
