Snow covered the ground. Letter from Ty-Ty and Dit in Silver City and one from Pauline R in Dexter.   Finished making out Final Exam Questions.  Forgot to say that I saw Ms. Tomlimson Ford yesterday at Ms. Grady’s.  She is leaving son for California. She looks sweet, fragile and bewildered

Iran became the first Muslim country to ban the wearing of veils in public.  In the years prior to the 1979 Revolution, Iran celebrated January 7 as Women’s Day to mark this event

New York Giants owner Charles Abraham Stoneham passed away.   He was also the center of numerous corruption scandals and the instigator of the “Soccer Wars” which destroyed theAmerican Soccer League.
