Saw Alyce Clair and Betty Johnston off to Tatum this afternoon. I couldn’t get anyone to take the organ for Sunday so I stayed – am quite lost up here all by myself.   Charlotte always goes home on Friday – Got a complimentary ticket for “David Copperfield”! Pretty Good!

Here’s what else was happening 80-years-ago today:

The first Orange Bowl ever was played today and the picture below was the first photo of a football game to be sent out by the Associate Press.
