Just four weeks since the last entry! I have neglected writing – Came to Van Horn by way of el Paso May 28. Stayed in El Paso all night. Have been here in El Paso almost half of the month. Dit is at 4200 La Luz and doing fine. Letters today from Mexico City saying I can get my degree with 2 more summers’work! Letter from Mahota and one from Accident Insurance. Paid premium of $7.00 today by check. Yesterday, Dit and I went to see art exhibit at the library. Surely is good – Dry Point etching, water colors, portraits, landscapes, pictured of architecture and sculpturing. Greek, Roman, French, German, Arabic, Egyptian, American and Spanish Art! Ty-Ty had a nice birthday, Jonathon gave her water glasses, I a dress and the rest here a steak set. Besides that hose and hankies. Have read “The Inquisition” by Hugh Walpole which is the best book I’ve read in ages. Also read some plays fom collection of 1934-36
