The White Parade (1934) PosterSchool again – Alyce Claire didn’t come yesterday. I had a letter that her Aunt had died and she would be back today. It is now 9:15 and no Alyce Claire yet.  Mrs. Hubbard substituted for her.  The school was cold.  My room did not get up to 68 degrees until about 2:30!  Wore my coat nearly all day.  Bernard called about a date to C of C dinner tomorrow night but I don’t know.  Went to see “White Parade” by myself tonight  – Very Good! Feeling blue tonight – Probably won’t get my weekly letter from home either this time – Wrote to First National Bank in Gallup about my dividend – Hope to hear soon!

Here’s what else was happening 80-years-ago today:

A new Time Magazine is out.
