Full day!   School all day. Teachers’ meeting until 5:10!  Found out that we get two days vacation for Thanksgiving and perhaps three-weekends for Christmas!  Grand news!  Went to a choir meeting of membership committee. Bernard brought me back in time to go to Hazel Hanson’s announcement Bridge party at 7:30.  The Sixtette sang several numbers. Cute Santa Claus heads (ice cream with red hots for eyes, nose and mouth) and cream cone for hat!  Home at 11:30 or little after – Mrs. Dr. Connor gave two readings enjoyed by everyone.

Here’s what else was happening 80-years-ago today:

A new Time Magazine.

President Roosevelt issues executive order  6910 conserving public lands.
