Picnic with the dramatic club at the Country Club. Very nice time. Misted on us before we left. Almost 40 went.  Miss Vineyard went too.  Missed P.T.A!

In anticipation of war, the governments of Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union signed a pact of mutual assistance and an air convention.  The Veteran bonus bill is on its way to the president.
