At night I went around with Bernard to say goodbye to Walden, Dwight (they weren’t home) Pete and Velma (we saw them at church) and Beas.   I’ll surely miss him and others will.   Roy Hitchcock thinks a lot of him.  But I am glad he is going- Got up at 5 to play tennis!  May day Fete went off very nicely –
