Short letter from Carsey saying how much I had enjoyed “Faust” He saw”David Copperfield” too and liked them both.   Surely am glad he has the chance – I guess he and Jaime saw “Il Trovatore” last night.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt celebrates his 53rd Birthday.

Martin Luther King, Sr. staged a protest at the Fulton County Courthouse.  Anna Hauptmann  takes the stand and the U.S. Senate rejects participation in the World Court.
