After choir practice Bernard took me riding and Mr. Akin took Alyce Claire and we all came to my room – Lovely night for a ride-

Here’s what else was happening 80-years-ago today:

The Lindbergh defense refuses to name the four people whom the defense contends did the kidnapping – but spends time grilling witness about suspicion of a gang.   A union labor dispute may have triggered someone to set off three bombs in Indiana and unseasonably warm weather brings fog and floods to New York.

The average family will bring in $3500 this year and girls should be satisfied with 13 outfits.
