Bought Dit’s negligee and mules for shower gift – went to class meeting at Mrs. Wilmot’s.  Was a covered dish luncheon and we surely had a nice time. About 15 of us there!  After that Bernard and I went to see “The Merry Widow”  Pete and Velma came to the show too.

Here’s what else was happening 80-years-ago today:

A Norwegian Boat in trouble in high seas -20 lives are at stake.  F.D.R. puts pressure on the States to assist with the New Deal and there are rumors of a revolt in Cuba.
