At 4 there was a faculty barbecue at the Fair Grounds. We were entertained by the Board. The band gave us a concert. At night we surprised Bernard by going out. Twas his birthday – Velma, Dwight, Bess, Prentess, Alyce Claire and I went out. Pete and Velma couldn’t, Wilma is visiting Velma.
