Dad left on the early morning train for Los Angeles., happy as a lark!  Surely am glad he has actually gone.  Rained quite awhile in the afternoon – letter from Lenore Shaffer in Roswell.  Letter from Carsey written Saturday in Tamazunchale, waiting for the river to subside -Nearly all the school was there!  Nice of him to write, even if he does call me names!  Wrote to Betty in the afternoon
