Here’s what else was happening 80-years-ago today
Republican forces bombed Burgos for the first time. Nationalists protested to the International Red Cross in Geneva that a hospital was bombed despite clearly displaying the Red Cross insignia.
The first Edward VIII postage stamps was issued.
