Alyce Claire has come – came about 8 – with the news that they had moved Joyce to Lubbock.  My 8th sections at school are as mixed up!  And I can’t find a decent group in the whole school. Met the new teacher Mr. Sprinkle who has a family.  At 7 Charlotte Klyng, Alyce Claire, Lucy Mae Crome and I went to see “Rose of the Rancho” I like Gladys Swarthout. Then we didn’t  have sense enough to go home so we tripped over to the Princess and saw Myrna Loy in “Whipsaw” with Spencer Tracy.  Rather Good. Finished grading (5) papers and slept with Alyce Claire rather than put new sheets on my bed at that time of night!  Surely do seem to require lots of sleep lately

Went to S.S. but came home and washed and graded a few papers.  A card from A.C. says Joyce is about the same but her kidneys wont work.  A very bad sign!
