Wrote to Mrs. Berkness – Heard Bernard was in town – That he arrived Sunday! I knew someone had called yesterday but supposed it was Harry who came up from the fair. Ate rabbit at Velma’s and me, Harry and Evelyn went to the Fair. Rode the fastest Ferris Wheel I ever hope to go on! Watched a man burning fall into a tank of water covered with burning gasoline. Got home at 11:45 P.M.!! Wrote form for applications!
