This is the day I should have eaten chicken – dinner in the church with Bernard but as it is  my week on duty I nobly refused!  I received about 25 Valentines from the children at school – we a box in our home-room.  In the afternoon Bernard send me a beautiful silver and white checked heart box of candy from Kipling’s!!  Precious!! A letter from Ty-Ty this morning makes it a perfect day.  Choir practice and party for the girls chorus afterwards – Good time had by all!  Announcement of engagement of Juanita Young and Wayne Rapp!
