Barely did get to church and S.S. without breakfast. Slept until 5 in the afternoon and my 
sore throat has almost vanished. Got letter from Jaime telling me of the opera. Someone else mailed it for there was a note on the back and Jaime wrote it Tuesday! Saw “The Bride Comes Home” with Claudette Colbert and Fred MacMurray – quite good. Lenore Shaffer went with me – Alyce Claire returned tonight
