Letter from Mahota at last! Marjie married Bill Pickle. She and I would sit at lunch and discuss alternately Diantha and Harold or Marjie and Bill! Ty-Ty went to Lobo. Letter from Betty says she has consulted the parents and will wire me if favorable. I had just sent a letter to Mrs. Ruiz saying that I was coming alone. I’ll wait to write again until I have a telegram – Corrected (?) Jo Ben Wheat’s write-up of his trip last summer! Twas rather like a diary. Jonathon went to El Paso today with Mr. Buff. Mary Jo went to Balmorhea. Jaime got invited to lunch with Mr. Neely with two “high-ups” at the Coffee Shop! Was he excited!
