Junior Play matinee and night – We dismissed at 2:30 for it. Went to town and then played some tennis though the wind was blowing. A Mr. Larcum strolled over and refereed for us. It turns out that he lives next door to Mrs. Martens. The play was “Seventeen” I know the story and there were 4 acts as it dragged a little before it was over! We (Alyce Claire) took Mrs. Markham. Later AC and I went to the Busy Bee for soup. Harriet has put an idea for roller skates in my head! Should like to brush up on my French, too! Heard some Institute Officers making fair stabs at it last night at Grady’s – Reminded me of Jaime!

The church was so cold in the morning that my nearly-well cold came right back. Miss Perry evidently went with Mr. Adkin – maybe to El Paso! At night we had church in the basement and I slept all the interim!

Who cares! Sent off letter for magazines. Get “Good Housekeeping” for 3 years and “American Home” for 4 years! Have decided against the Ins. that Mr. Moen carries. Saw “Three Kids and a Queen” with Mary Robson but Henry Armetta ought to have gotten more of the credit. He is really good! Wrote to Jaime and home.

Alyce Claire back again after missing a day and a half. The S.S. party went off at Adele Green’s. I borrowed A.C’s car and was glad to have it. Only one other care for 14 people. I gave red sweet pea favors to all the ones who came. Home by 10:30
